Product Manager

job summary:

The product manager will have overall direction and accountability for leading a digital project to build a new customers experience for company website.

Bachelor's degree is preferred.

responsibilities:

  • Communicate digital vision and capabilities to product managers and stake holders and share insights and trends; provide subject-matter expertise, internally and externally; stay abreast of the industry and competitive landscape.

  • Understand the use and practicality of new and emerging digital technologies and functionalities, and introduce new and relevant ideas and capabilities on a regular basis.

  • Ensure digital strategy is informed by data - mobile first, cloud, analytics, A/B testing, data trends, user surveys, focus groups, etc.

  • Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders including Product, Service Operations, IT and Marketing.

  • Collaborate with the agile work team to develop epics and stories, attend work demos, and conduct BAT testing.

qualifications:

  • Proven track record successfully delivering a superior digital experience and engagement strategy in the digital arena (web and mobile app); able to effectively collaborate front-end development teams; expertise in all key functional areas, including usability, UX, design, and information architecture.

  • Couples strategic insight with strong executional orientation and ability to deliver results in a complex and fluid environment; demonstrated success in building and maintaining large, sophisticated digital properties.

  • Understands business needs and desired end-user experience and provides input into design, experience, and technical decisions.

  • Knowledgeable in modern web UI architecture and development, responsive web design and development, mobile web development, web performance optimization, SEO, and analytics.

  • A mobile native who understands where mobile is headed and how it connects into the broader IoT digital ecosystem.

skills:

  • Familiarity with technical advances to the web and mobile, as well as conversational interfaces, content and design changes and how this affects the overall digital experience.

  • Experience with successfully delivering critical projects using Agile and managing large cross functional teams in a demanding environment.

  • Effective relationship builder and using influence across all levels and functions of the organization.
