The Accountant will run the Accounting department in a small firm.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, close process.

  • Account reconciliations and journal entry preparation.

  • Process payroll for 50+ employees.

  • Handle benefits administration and some HR matters.

  • Oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

  • Prepare monthly fixed assets, depreciation, and other asset related activity.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with outside peers for knowledge sharing and benchmarking.

  • Banking and treasury functions

Requirements - Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Excel- V Look up's and pivot tables

  • Ability to work well within a self-directed, team based environment.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including effective listening

This is a direct hire position and the salary will be $50-high 60's
