IT Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager who has strong, hands-on deployment experience in an infrastructure environment to be responsible for leading projects of small to medium size ($100k - $1M) and complexity in accordance with functional and technical requirements, and company policies, procedures, and guidelines. This individual must have experience with data center projects, hardware deployment, computing platform expansion, and system migration.
As an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of matrixed technical and support resources (including suppliers) to achieve a project's objectives within the defined constraints (scope, schedule, cost, & quality). You will plan and manage the technical direction of a project throughout all phases of the project's life cycle (plan, design, build, test, deploy, release, & close) by using Solution Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) process and applying PMI's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide). In addition, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining all project artifacts (charter, schedule, resource, budget, dependency, risk, change, status) and ensuring the timely submittal of project deliverables.
Plan and manage infrastructure projects of small to medium size ($100k - $1M) and technical complexity with minimal supervision.
Establish and lead project teams (technical and support resources) in a matrix environment (including suppliers) to effectively utilize resources and deliver quantifiable results.
Perform detailed infrastructure project planning and execute in accordance to the defined plans.
Identify internal/external project dependencies and partner with other program/project managers to ensure successful and timely delivery. - Identify project risks/issues, perform mitigation/contingency planning, and execute appropriate response actions.
Develop and maintain scope, schedule, and cost baselines based upon approved requirements, cost estimates, and project prioritization.
Maintain timely and accurate project status reporting via reports, dashboards, and email communications.
Enable consistent and clear communication among project stakeholders.?
Minimum of 10 years of IT infrastructure project experience.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
HealthCare and Information Technology experience and knowledge
Work experience planning and managing infrastructure projects and data center build outs.
Proficient in Microsoft Word (plans, documents, & reports), Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint (dashboards, reports, & presentations), Visio (diagrams & flowcharts), Project (developing, baselining, & statusing resource-loaded schedules), and SharePoint (document repository).
Possess organizational proficiencies to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under limited supervision.
