One of our clients is seeking an experienced tax professional to lead its internal tax department. Bachelor's degree with concentration in Income Tax, Accounting or related field required; MS in Taxation highly desirable; CPA certification preferred.
Overall tax responsibilities encompass all direct and indirect tax planning, research, reporting and compliance matters, as well as tax support to the business on all operational matters.

Be accountable for proper GAAP and tax treatment of transactions
Prepare consolidated tax provision and footnote disclosures under US GAAP which is accepted without material change by outside auditors during the Company's year end audit. Prepare quarterly current and deferred tax accruals for federal and state tax provisions
Manage and support transfer pricing studies
Manage all tax audits
Facilitate tax planning strategy on a global basis for the consolidated group
Manage the Company's intercompany relationships and ensure that at all times these relationships meet the arm's length principle.
Maintain up-to-date mapping of business and reporting systems general ledger trial balance accounts into tax software application tax accounts
Provide tax work papers and supporting documentation to PWC-PR for Puerto Rico tax returns and prepare annual and monthly Puerto Rico Excise Tax Returns
Our chosen candidate will have:
A BBA in taxation, MBA preferred, CPA preferred
A minimum of 8-10 years of global corporate tax experience with both domestic and international operations, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Has led the management of IRS audits.

Proficient in tax and in tax related FASBs
